Silo Rate in My Grass Farm

Hay is not Cash until the silo keeps up with your blade and your workers.

Silo Rate Guide

Silo Rate is the quiet upgrade that decides whether My Grass Farm feels rich or stuck. You cut grass. That becomes hay. Hay is not shop money until it is processed. If Cut Speed and workers outrun the silo, you built a warehouse of unspent work. This page is the conversion checklist. Pair it with the upgrade planner for the buy order and with make money fast for the session loop.

The experience does not publish a public formula for how much each Silo Rate rank adds. Anyone selling a “hay per second calculator” is guessing. Use your eyes: if stacks sit while you still have Cash needs, buy silo. If the silo is idle and the field is full, buy speed or workers instead.

What the silo is for

Think of the plot as three machines. The blade and the crew fill the first machine (hay). The silo is the second. Stands and the Cash counter are the third. Scripts advertise Auto Collect Stands because players forget the third machine. They advertise Silo Rate autobuy because players forget the second. You can run both with a walk and a shop click. See collect stands for the lap, and auto farm only if you understand executor risk.

Offline workers still cut while you are gone. They do not magically empty a jammed silo. If you log back into a mountain of hay and a poor Cash bar, Silo Rate was behind all afternoon. Run the offline farm checklist so the next logout is not the same screenshot.

When to buy Silo Rate

After Cut Speed feels less sticky, and after you confirmed workers actually swing. That is the same spine as Getting Started. Do not open Rolls because a rainbow thumbnail looked like math. Luck multiplies a healthy conversion loop; it does not create one. Rank details live on the upgrade tier list.

Buy another silo rank when you see hay waiting. Do not buy three silo ranks “just in case” while the starter blade still chews slowly. Empty pipeline first, then widen the bottleneck you can see.

MERCHANT turf makes each cut worth more. That can make silo urgency go up, not down. A richer Grass Type feeding a slow converter is still a traffic jam. Put workers on the better turf, then check whether the silo is the new ceiling.

Silo versus land versus luck

Land is a bigger field. If conversion is already late, a bigger field is a bigger jam. Follow expand farm only when the current fence is busy and hay still becomes Cash. Luck shops feed rare grass. They are later on purpose.

RELEASE Cash, when Settings still accepts it, should not vanish into Mutation Luck. Six hundred is a Cut Speed and silo starter kit. BLACKHOLE Cash, if it lands, follows the same rule. Try strings from the codes hub before you theorycraft bottlenecks you could have skipped with free Farmers.

A two-minute silo audit

  1. Watch one full process cycle. Does hay drop while Cash stays flat? Silo is late.
  2. Watch workers for thirty seconds. Are they idle on empty dirt? You need grass coverage, not silo.
  3. Walk stands. Uncollected value is not a silo problem—collect stands.
  4. If you use any auto-buy panel, leave a Cash floor so silo and Cut Speed can still purchase. Zero-reserve luck spam is how converters starve.

What we will not invent

Exact rank costs. Exact process rates. A slider that pretends to know your plot. If One More Grass later posts numbers on Discord, they will land in patch notes. Until then, this tool is an order: speed, then silo, then coverage, then land, then luck.

Specialist names in the worker shop do not replace a silo rank. A Scientist looking busy on a jammed converter is still a jammed converter. Hire from the worker roster after the pipeline moves.

When the silo keeps up, the farm feels quiet in a good way. That quiet is Cash compounding. If you only remember one sentence, remember this: cut speed fills the pipe, silo rate empties it, stands collect the result. Miss any one and the other two look broken.

Return to the tools hub for the planner and the logout list. Then close the wiki and watch the plot for one minute. The next upgrade will be obvious because the pile will tell you.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers to the most common farm questions.

What does Silo Rate do in My Grass Farm?

It speeds how hay becomes Cash. If stacks sit after you cut, buy silo before luck. See the upgrade planner.

Should I max Silo Rate before Cut Speed?

No. Make swings tolerable first, then raise silo when hay backs up. Make money fast uses that order.

Do workers need Silo Rate while I am offline?

They keep cutting. You still need conversion. Use the offline checklist plus this page.

Is there an official silo formula?

Not publicly. Ignore fake calculators. Watch the plot and spend on the bottleneck you can see.
